Healthcare reform is stalled.......a Jobs Bill is encountering obstacles......Cap-N-Trade is going nowhere......another Stima-Spendulous is questionable........the American economy is still bleeding jobs at a rapid pace.......Deficits are growing at levels unimaginable just 12 months ago......

On at least one thing, the President was right: We the American People do not give up; we do not quit! Remember that Mr.

Fresh with a still-stinging boot print along their posterior after Senator-Elect Scott Brown (R-MA) election one week ago, it seems as though many liberal Democrats are still trying to envision and plan a path by which they can circumvent the normal legislative process and gain passage of their over-reaching Healthcare Deform legislation. Voices from the kook-left fringe and current party leadership appear unfazed in their calls to force through what voters in Massachusetts (specifically) and nationwide (based on most all current polling) are now shouting that they do not want.

As the "Tea Party" phenomenom was gathering steam during 2009, Democrats (trying to belittle this motivated and active opposition) coined a new dismissive: "AstroTurfing". This term was used as a insult calling to question the "Grassroots" nature of this opposition to Healthcare "Deform" and the other myriad of socialist schemes. According to this perspective, such active opposition was "ginned up" and "manufactured" among a bunch of supposedly "mindless" followers in response to Pied-Piper guidance from Conse

Less than a week since Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) was the fodder of political discussions with his quoted statements about how then-Candidate Obama acted in a stereotypical manner when it politically suited him, another Senate (now) Democrat, Arlen Specter (D-PA) is tossing his hat in the "Be-Glad-You-Are-A-Democrat" sweepstakes for boneheaded statements. In a radio interview with Congresswoman Michelle Bachman (R-MN), the Senator, on more than on occasion, told the Congresswoman that "I am going to treat you like a lady....now act like one!" If

Make no mistake; the 2010 mid-term elections began today! Former Clinton political advisor and current FOX News contributor, Dick Morris introduced an article today with the following artillery volley: "Scott Brown won Ted Kennedy's old Senate seat, which means any Republican can win at any time in any place." Such is the political reality when one views that a Republican (-a Republican State Senator-) won a state-wide race against the sitting State Attorney General in perhaps the bluest of Blue S

If some of the polling information and reports out of Massachusetts prove accurate and Republican Scott Brown actually beats Democrat Martha Coakley for the remainder of the late-Ted Kennedy's Senate seat, we could be in store for obscenely outrageous behavior and outright kook-fringe lunacy in the next week or so. It will likely be a close race, but a "close race" is not what Democrats should be experiencing in a race for the seat

Many are discussing the consequences to and upcoming unequal treatment of "non-union" employees with the Democrat's Healthcare Reform legislation. With the negotiation of sweetheart tax-exemption deals for Labor Union members and their "Cadillac" healthcare plans (see Politico link), small-to-medium sized businesses and their non-unionized employees are soon to see their insurance costs rise creating yet another Democrat-created impediment to private sector jobs and job creation.

When you are a Republican or Conservative, any statement that can be interpreted as insensitive (or be taken out of context and misrepresented as such - see Michael Moore) can be a career-ender. Luckily for Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid (D-NV), so long as you are a liberal and a Democrat, you need only apologize and all is forgiven. Why - they probably bring Leslie Neilsen out of retirement from Police Squad to stand in front of the cameras declaring "Move Along - Nothing To See Here - Please Disperse - Nothing To See Here".
