Make no mistake; the 2010 mid-term elections began today!  Former Clinton political advisor and current FOX News contributor, Dick Morris introduced an article today with the following artillery volley: "Scott Brown won Ted Kennedy's old Senate seat, which means any Republican can win at any time in any place."  Such is the political reality when one views that a Republican (-a Republican State Senator-)  won a state-wide race against the sitting State Attorney General in perhaps the bluest of Blue States!  Regardless of the spin proferred by the White House and National Democratic Leaders, this was a tidal wave that is only building to possible tsunami levels in the runup to the November elections.
 
In his article, Morris actually offers a political path by which Republicans could not only retake control of the U.S. House, but possibly the U.S Senate as well.  Admittedly, his estimates would require two wins that would initially seem unlikely as well as winning three-out-of-five in another group of races where (today) a solid, legitimate Republican candidate has not stepped forward. 
 
That said, who would have gone out on a limb to predict Scott Brown winning in Massachusetts 6 weeks ago?  In that vein, who would dare assume that there are not a number of supposedly-safe Democrats in outright fear of what could happen to their re-election chances over the next 9-10 months when the political momentum is so quickly and violently moving against them?
 
If there was ever a moment in history when energetic and transparent candidates who wish to connect with the American people to appear and take up the banner for Conservative principles like freedom and opportunity, it is now!  If there has been a time when the American people are ready for campaigns that focus on empowering them to return this nation to its greatness instead of trying to measure American by what it cannot do, it is now!  If there has been a time when American political momentum is moving in a direction that could send many of the Collectivist themes and ideals to the ash heap of history, it is now!
